Advocacy
The Placement Circle believes that it is well placed to advocate for women. We reflect the lived experiences of our members. We hear their stories. We have a collective voice.
The concerns, issues and the solutions put forward by our members make for an important contribution to the dialogue with and thinking of our policy makers and decision makers.
We believe in an independent, non-partisan voice informed by community .
Issues of importance to our members include:
-
Free access to education and training
-
Access to meaningful and sustainable employment
-
Freedom for violence, discrimination, racism, poverty, and unfair treatment under the law.
We also recognise that ours is not the only voice at the table. We gladly work with other organisations and associations to share an informed collective view on matters of common interest.
