We facilitate programs that support the placement of women into the Early Childhood Education & Care sector using our peer-led “Earn and Learn” model.
Through our unique peer support program that works in partnership with TAFE/Registered Training Organisations and Employers, WomenCAN Australia connects women to career pathways and providing scaffolding for women to stride the path toward financial independence, together.
This program is currently operating in South East Melbourne.

WomenCAN Australia is currently seeking women in South East Melbourne who are interested in a traineeship in Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC).
Are you inclusive, reliable and a great communicator, curious to learn about early years education, and dedicated to supporting young childrens’ learning?
This is your chance to step into a meaningful role and
‘earn & learn’ on the job via a supportive traineeship model.
WomenCAN Australia has recently completed the successful Greater Shepparton Early Years Pilot, providing women with training and employment in Early Childhood Education & Care.
Through our ‘Earn & Learn’ model, trainees worked while completing a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (CHC30121), gaining hands-on experience and building capacity, connection, and confidence along the way.
While this program has concluded, we remain committed to supporting women in their career journeys through our other initiatives.
