Commenting on her experience, Everlyn shared, “I like it, the kids are very nice. It’s so good because, the childcare you know that you must look after them and then they will learn and grow. It’s very interesting. Yes, it’s very good.”
Everlyn has already completed her first assignment, and her excitement is palpable. “Oh, I did my first assignment already and I’m going to just say that I think my first assignment was pretty good, I liked it,” she said. The traineeship is proving to be a rewarding experience, allowing her to open her heart and embrace new challenges.
A moment of pride for Everlyn was receiving her hoodie, a symbol of her journey and accomplishments. “Yeah, I got [my hoodie]. I just love it; I just wore it on Friday, and I went to school. My name was on there and oh my god, I just loved it!” she exclaimed.
Everlyn is grateful for the opportunity provided by WomenCAN Australia, acknowledging that without their support, she wouldn’t have been able to pursue the childcare course.
“If I was not with WomenCAN Australia, I would not have done the childcare course. It’s lucky I did it, thank you, WomenCAN Australia,” she expressed with heartfelt appreciation.
