Most recently, we were delighted to host Safa and Marwa, twin sisters in year 10, at our Melbourne office. During their time with us, they contributed to research on fundraising opportunities and customer relationship management platforms. They also attended a WomenCAN Australia team meeting, where they had the opportunity to converse with the team and share their findings.
Safa shared, “My experience at WomenCAN Australia has helped me understand more about helping others and maybe decide what job I want in the future. I liked the people I worked with and the grants activities I did. I learned how important teamwork is and how to speak up for myself.”
Marwa added, “At WomenCAN Australia, I learned new things and met new people who will support my future career goals. I learned that it’s important for girls to help each other; when we work together, we can do amazing things. Speaking up for what is right can make a big difference.”
This initiative underscores our commitment to cultivating practical skills and providing invaluable insights into the workings of a professional environment.
